Welcome, EVERYONE! (read upon entering-we want to meet you!)
Can I just tell you how happy I am to be here and to have met so many AWESOME women since I've been designing for UNITY!?!? I think about it EVERY time I sign onto the forum but you know, I don't always say it and I really SHOULD. I am a firm believer that if you are enjoying something, you should SHARE IT! That's what we are all about at UNITY...it's a commUNITY of WONDERFUL, AMAZING, INSPIRING women and it's such a fantastic privilege to have a place where we can all come and HANG OUT!!!! Not only do we have the most rockin' DT in the business, I can't even express how much I LOVE not only talking to you guys but seeing the UBER talented customer creations w/ the stamps you've come to know and love! You know ALL about the stamps by now (and if you're new, there's LOTS of info about that here too...) but what I'd like to do is focus on YOU. THE WOMEN. THE INSPIRATION. The SHARING. The commUNITY, again :) The accomplishments...trials...joys...tears... ALL OF IT! So with that being said, you'll be seeing a little more of me around the Forum and I'll be hanging out w/ AJ and the gang making sure you guys are having a BLAST and I cannot WAIT to get to know you guys better. Angela has had a vision and a goal for UNITY from DAY ONE and it's my honor to watch that dream grow by getting to know the heart and soul of her business and LET YOU ALL know this: You are APPRECIATED. SO VERY MUCH!!! ALL. OF. YOU. is what makes Unity not your 'average' stamp company. We'll change the way you stamp, but we'll also change the way you FEEL about stamping because of what you can learn from so many beautiful ladies who hang out here! EVERYONE is WELCOME HERE. Feel free to take a minute and introduce...or RE-introduce yourself. We'll be waiting!!! xoxo u·ni·ty (yn-t) n. pl. u·ni·ties 1. The state or quality of being one; singleness. 2. HELLO!!!!
I say it all the time UNITY ROCKS! I have loved Unity before the "doors" opened! I stumbled upon Miss AJ's blog and found Unity! I remember when they offically opened and the amazing stamps they offered! I can remember (no joke) being on vacation that summer up late on the laptop because there was a Unity party and I HAD to order the big bundle of stamps! Still after all the Unity stamps I own every time I stamp a new one I'm in awe. I swear I stamp and say out loud, now that is awesome! (or maybe I'm just a nut who talks to herself while stamping LOL) I can go on and on but you don't want to "listen" to me ramble on. Keep up the good work and I can't wait to see what else Unity has up their sleeves! But stop releasing so many great stamps I am going to get into trouble one day! LOL! (JK on the stop releasing part, but I might be in trouble LOL) |
OH MY--I just came back to read more about everyone else....THANK YOU sooooooooo much for your wonderful comments! I really wonder sometimes if anyone reads my blog:) Now I know:) THANK YOU--this really made my day! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!
So wonderful getting to know everyone! I RSS feed to all of your blogs (everyone who has commented so far!!). Always inspired by your creations--and anything Unity:} |
Hi there
Savannah - I love your blog too, and I love that you invited me to Playdate cafe, its a favourite challenge of mine. My favourite stamps have have have to be Unity/{ippity}!! I want the whole freakin lot!!:D I actually do, I have looked at every single stamp on the catalogue, I drool over them. I have just recently started blogging and coming onto Splitcoast and even more recently taken part in the {ippity} blog hops!!!!!! Yay! Great fun and i so appreciate all the comments peeps have made, you are sooo encouraging. I got a cuttlebug last Christmas , and have not looked back since. I really love making cards, have dabbled a toe in the water of scrapbooking, but not there yet! Cards cards cards - just can't get enough of making them. My daughter calls me a geek, but i could care less:p So happy to have met everyone on here, seems such a lovely community, and looking forward to getting to know you better. love Elisabeth x |
Savannah's blog ROCKS, indeed!!! RSS in Google.
Lisa. Also answer to Schnauz. Crazy dawg lady....on the board, webmaster, and foster home for an all-breed dog rescue. One of the last blogless people on earth. I've been scrapping since 2001. Do cards off and on, a lot for the rescue. I stumbled on Unity a few months ago...I don't think I've used another stamp since. Why? They "speak" to me. Even if I don't think I feel like creating something, all I have to do is flip thru the stamps...and I do. I've never seen anything quite like it, and I think the spirit and force of Unity itself gives it a vision that translates into the stamps... My random sappy Friday moment. :) |

And I TOTALLY hear you on the Unity "speaking' to you! I am a quote girl and there are NO quotes like UNITY's! And like you guys, when I came here it was just a really 'feel good' place and THAT's where I want to spend my time! When I first met Ang and realized she was a 'soul sister' of sorts, this totally confirmed it. Thanks for posting and sharing w us! This has been SO great to read and it's only the 1st day, guys!!!! |
I try to limit myself to one on Fridays. At least in public. :D

Is there ever a day that Unity doesn't bring us happiness?!!! I discovered and got hooked on Unity in February 2009...and have been coming here ever since. Sometimes I can spend time here in the forum, and most recently I haven't been able to attend HH on Thursday's, but it's so nice to catch up late at night and see that everyone is still having so much fun!
Ever since I've been hanging out with Unity, I feel that I have taken more chances and leaps into creating! I won't name blogs 'cause it would never end, but you gals ALL have such original and creative art...love it! Every piece of Unity is always positive, and from all the peeps to the stamps, they are totally FUN! 'Life' always happens and we encounter changes, but it's always nice to be able to come to such a fantastic place full of inspiration and the most kind people! This Unity forum is one of my favorite places to visit my 'friends'...I love that everyone tries to keep this forum uplifting and positive! It's always a FUN party with Unity peeps...THANKS EVERYONE for making us all feel like FAMILY! *smile* And thanks Jessica for the new spark in the forum (you know I adore your work too)! |

Hey Unity Peeps!
It's so good to see some friends here. :) Let's see... how did I come to Unity? I had this sweet gal named Jen Buck message me on Facebook with a simple ' Hey... we both live near each other. Why haven't we met? Let's get together!' The rest is history. You guys are the kind of friends that you don't have to chat with daily but know that you are always there with a smile on your face ready to chat when a chat is needed. LOVE that! So many weeks I click back on the comments from my blog and check out the fab work of all of you as well. I have to say that I've meet a few Unity friends in person as well and they are just as genuine in person as they are here. I'm soooo not surprised! Lisa--- I had a schnauzer growing up. LOVE them! Your picture is so stinkin' cute! |

What a fun encouraging little thread this is :) And THANKS Maria! It was very much time for a new photo ;) |
Ohh...what a great thread this is!!! Just stumbled across it and I just had to say hello!!!! :) I came across Unity in the early months of 2009 and I barely just came back into stamping and I just fell in love with the stamps and the people! My good friend Karen (yepp, you all know her, too..hehehe) already owned some Unity and and she was nudging me and so was Lindsay Spencer, so finally in April I caved in and became a member and never looked back.
I so love all the people that make Unity happen and all the people that are the customers as well and I am always so humbled to get all the sweet comments on my blog and I so enjoy visiting your blogs, too as you all inspire me! So, what makes a great company? People that have the passion for what they do...and Unity sure does! :) |
Hi All... I just saw this thread too! What a fun way to get to know everyone a little more.
I fell in love with Unity sometime in 2009... I think my first kit was September 2009, but I have so many I have forgotten. I was new to splitcoast, found the Unity forum and lurked! Heehee. It didn't take long to find out how special and awesome the Unity Company is and I signed up to be apart of this wonderful group and fabulous stamps. I absolutely LOVE Unity. I love everything from the stamps, the people who make Unity happen and the girls who share my Unity passion! I always secretly dreamed of being involved somehow in the Unity company. Dreamed to be on their design team (but never said it out loud) so when I was asked to join the Ippity DT, I about fell off my chair. Now that I really get to see Unity/Ippity from both side, I was never wrong about this company. Everyone involved is kind, passionate, generous and so supportive. It is amazing to find such a place!!! I have met so many wonderful people and have been touched by so much kindness since I found Unity. As with Eva, I am truly humbled by all the people who visit and comment on my blog. It is a constant reminder how lucky I am to be involved with such a wonderful company and community. There is such great talent in the Unity world and you all constantly inspire me in so many ways. |
I adore Unity for the stamps and fabulous community of friends it has created. I have been a KOM member since February 2009 and have been hooked ever since. I think the height of my Unity experience was last summer. I created so much, participated in great forums, contests, challenges and bought way too much Unity. (Really who has too much?!) There is so much variety that I can easily shuffle through the hundreds of stamps that I have and find something for virtually any occasion. I have grown creatively and as a person in general. What a uplifting feeling! I am so inspired by the amazing creations made by DT members and customers. The flow of ideas is never ending.
I'm so hooked that I am trying to get a couple of blog posts done before I go to the hospital on July 6. How sad is that? lol! |
