We're back! That's right folks the weekly challenges of the Unity Addicts has returned. Let's get ready for Hip Hop Thursday with our first challenge of 2009.
Today's challenge comes from Kim:
Sometimes Less Is More
A card base (you can layer if you like), an image and/or sentiment, and one embellishment.
I'm a pretty simple, basic kind of gal and like those clean and simple type cards that are quick and easy to make."
Hooray for Unity Wednesdays! My card goes up on my blog at 8 CST this morning...I forgot to put it on SCS before I left for work this morning. I kinda missed the point of 1 embellishment or less (had 2) BUT do I get extra credit for making a slim sized (3x6) card?
Love the stuff I'm seein' so far. You ladies all rock!! I'll leave some love tonight at home - my work computer just drags.........kind of like me in the mornings
Wow, all of you must have gotten' creativity 'mojo' for Christmas!!! Beautiful, beautiful cards!!! (and you must have gotten a bottle of 'time' too!!!)
I will post mine tonight. I know- late again but I have had some issues with work and my brother's girlfriend just had a stroke so my normal quiet time has not been so quiet the last couple nights.

Oh no!! I hope she is ok!?!?
And I hope the work stuff gets resolved soon!
Thank you Thank you!! I missed this so much and I so needed it today! I don't know how I got anything done amidst all the boxes ..but
here's mine the road to a friend's house
I promised I would make a card with the Beer in a mug stamp (with a little glitz) and make a toast to Unity and her friends! This is an old Irish saying that was placed on the card:
There are good ships, and there are wood ships, the ships that sail the sea. But the best ships are friendships, and may they always be.
