YES I did say 2012!!! Can you believe it! Well now that back to school is under way and summer vacations are done I thought I'd get a list started for Growing in Unity for next year! I'm thrilled that this is such a popular Unity sponsored program and Angela is excited to have it continue next year as well! Thanks to Unity and everyone who has participated and make it work so well!
Details:
Each week one person will be our "Growing in Unity gal (or guy)" which means every day M-F that person will post, on her blog a new Unity (Ippity)project. That person will have their name and link posted on the Unity Blog throughout the week.
Every Wednesday I will post a "feature" about the Growing In Unity gal for the week. I will ask you to share some info about yourself and Unity as well as a project to be featured on the Unity blog.
As a GIU gal you will receive your choice of a Unity kit worth $29. You will also be able to pick a random winner from all your comments throughout your GIU week and that person will receive two itty bitty stamps.

If you are interested in participating one week next year just post here which date you would be interested in along with your email and blog addresses. I want to be sure to compile a complete list so that I can contact folks to send reminders etc.
If you sign up please make note of your date. If you can not participate please let me know as early as possible before your date so that I can fill the slot with someone else. I do try hard to get mails sent out at least a week or more in advance to the GIU participants as reminders. Next year I will work at getting them out even sooner.
Once we fill the calendar. This thread will serve as our "waitlist", meaning if someone is unable to fill their week when the time comes I will come here to chat and see who might be able to fill in. SOO, if you don't get a spot be sure to check in here often.
I will check in here often to update the dates above with names as I see them come in. I think that covers it but let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Oh my goodness!! I am SO excited to find that you are doing signups for GIU for 2012. I've been hoping for a while now to take a turn to Grow In Unity. Yippee!! My chance has finally come!!

Hey guys! I just went through all the requests and updated the list up above. In some cases someone requested a date but it was filled by the time I got to them. I then gave them the next available date. If you received a date you can't do or don't want please just let me know so we can give you another one.
Wow! This sounds like something I'd definitely like to try. I don't have an awful lot of Unity stamps and most of them I've actually picked up in the past few weeks but I love the ones I have.
