Default Have you watched Zero Hour Yet?

Have you started watching the new series Thurs nights on ABC called Zero Hour with Anthony Edwards? I saw an interview with him, and watched it today thru our On Demand, and wow was it good!!! Full of intrigue, you're not sure who you can trust or believe, and it has links back in time to Nazi Germany and religious overtones. It was quite good! He was saying each show will have a clue to the next one..... I found it enticing!!

I haven't - but will now after seeing your post. I have been looking for some good shows on TV to watch, so am happy to hear of one!

I watched it after reading your post. I liked it but the first episode was a lot to take in. Once I get past the wife calling her husband to tell him to call the police, I may like it a little more. I'll let you know how I feel after Ep. 2.

After watching it, and now seeing some interviews with Anthony Edwards, it seems to confirm what I felt after the first episode........you can't trust anyone!!! That's one of the things that make it so much fun to watch, there will be lots of twists and turns. He said this storyline will end at the end of the 13 episodes. Now, whether a new one will begin, or they see how the show takes off, is anyones guess. But, the early reviews were very good.

It sort of reminds me of the one with Ashley Judd, Missing, where things were always fluid and you never knew who you could trust. Unfortunately it was a one shot deal......

Well, I have to say, after watching a few episodes, I'm not as gun-ho as I was at first. They seem to put too much in each show, overloading it, and almost making it too confusing. I'm starting to get a bit disappointed.

I watched the first episode of Red Widow, and think I'll give that one a try. They're committed for 6.

I just read an article in our local paper, and it appears that Zero Hour has been cancelled. The article confirmed my thoughts -- the networks don't want to give a new show a chance to develop. If it's not a big hit right away, they pull the plug. I was really enjoying the show. Now we'll never know if he finds his wife!

That's so sad. I remember when shows were actually given a whole season to prove themselves. Now it seems as if only the stupid ones are given any chance and those tend to go on for a couple of years before they get axed.
My family really enjoyed the few episodes they did show.

I couldn't get past the sloppy writing. When one of the "scholars" referred to Luke as an apostle, I realized this was just another show where lazy writers didn't do their fact checking. Tried to be a Dan Brown novel, but didn't quite add up.
