Did anyone watch tonight? I thought it was a great show. I loved the end where they all waltzed. I totally want to sign up for dance lessons. I have always been a dancer but never ballroom type dancing. It looks so neat.
I like John and Charlotte, but I want a body like Kelly. I think that I like John because he cracks me up! I was a little surprised by who left tonight even though I didn't like them. Thought it would have been someone else who got the lowest score this week.
Tonight was great! I actually liked them all--thought they all pulled off both dances. Although I really don't like Kelly's attitude, I thought she handled the 'wardrobe malfunction' very well. BUT......I thought it was really tacky how she kept grabbing herself after she was done. YES, her strap came off, but NO she wasn't falling out. Drove me nuts! I want to see them go.
Did anyone notice Rachel's nasty face when they were waiting to be eliminated--thought that was kind of amusing...
Am I the only one that thinks it was a planned malfunction to take away from the fact that she can't dance? Maybe if John had dropped his pants he would have been treated better. I swear, the more the audience likes a couple the more the judges hate them.
I love Joey & Ashley--I don't think that their technique is always the greatest (and this is only my opinion), but their performance/stage presence (sp?) has been some of the best that I've seen, along with John & Charlotte. I like Kelly & Alec, but don't think that they've been as consistant (though they have been getting better). I'm bummed that I'll have to wait another week to see them all dance--it's a good thing I have a lesson tonight (swing dancing, not ballroom), so I'll at least get my fix that way!!
Have a great day!

You know, I really don't want people to spoil my delusions with reality.
I can't decide who I like best so I can't answer the poll. My first inclination is to go with Kelly but I just love watching John dance each week. He has just style.
I think John is more suited to the waltz type dances. He seems to be a very relaxed person to dance with. When Kelly kept grabbing herself I said to my hubby 'nothing like grabbing yourself on national tv!". It wasn't like her top was falling off either. I got a little nervous as I almost thought John and Charlotte were going to be the ones elminated. They are very well suited for each other.
I am a Kelly fan here. I do like all the couples left. I think John and Charlotte will be the ones to win it in the end. But I am so glad that Kelly and her partner have improved so much...and that the judges see it.
I have to say...probably b/c I am a Kelly fan...that although I do agree she was grabbing herself a bit much...I think she was just a bit uncomfortable. Her top almost came off on live tv.
I also have to disagree that it was "planned". Her malfunction took away from a lot of her dancing...she was more focused on not losing her top, so it would take away from her overall performance b/c all you end up seeing is her fidgeting. So I don't think she planned it. It is a family show....I don't see her and her partner doing that on purpose.
Oh and I also cannot believe how harsh they were on John and Charlotte...except for that one step he missed..again...they did great. They are a perfectly matched pair for this show.
And I loved Joey and Ashley's little showcase in the Waltz number when they were flinging each other around. How fun!
I'm sorry, but I just can't stand Kelly. While she can shake and girate (is that a word?) and has plenty of sex-appeal overall I do think she is very awkward and oompa-loompa-like. Although I started out hating Rachel Hunter I honestly thought she was one of the best and did not deserve to be eliminated last night. But I guess that's what I get for not voting, huh?
The judges are ridiculously harsh on these couples. They are all doing an awesome job and there's no way anyone can learn real technique in a week or two. But I'm sure they are told to be this way - the thought being that Simon Cowell is what got ratings for Idol. Plus it motivates the audience to call and vote.

That is just too funny! I thought that they did OK last nite. It was kinda funny watching hold onto her boobs! I LOVE John!!!

Well....Kelly did admit to 'not being graceful'. Last week the "Jive" (?), I think was her best. Put me out there on the dance floor and I'd be worse than her! LOL Really need to give these Stars credit, 35 hours and learn two new dances!! I commend them all!!
