I often get overwhelmed by my ever growing stash of scrapbook supplies. When that happens, I try a less-is-more approach to my scrapbooking. By limiting myself to just a few products I can boost my creativity and get pages done quickly.
Your challenge this week is to to use the following 5 products to create a layout and see how freeing limits can be. Feel free to substitute for any of the listed products that you do not have;
One sheet of cardstock
One piece of patterned paper
Jeweled brads or plain ones
Letter stickers or any type of pre-made letters for your title
One chipboard or other 3-D embellishment.
I actually have a sample completed for you this week: Proud Papa
Now it's your turn!;)
Please use the keyword IFC13 for all submissions for this challenge. And be sure to leave a reply in this thread with a link to your creation!
You can find all layouts submitted for this challenge HERE
*The inspiration for this challenge was found in the MAY/JUNE 2007 issue of Simple Scrapbooks Magazine.*

It really is fun so, I hope you'll give it a try. You'll be surprised how much quicker you get done when you take away all those extra options. ;)
I'll definitely have a go at this one, Jennipher! But, I have so many scrapping goodies, I can't do too many like this or I'll never use all my product!
Thanks for the limits Jennipher, I too get over whelmed sometimes with choices and end up taking hours to scrap one page. I'll be giving this a try soon.

I get so overwhelmed sometimes that I don't even get myself started! With the limits, I came home tonight and started this challenge right away! I have a page done, but want to wait until morning to take a photo. Hopefully, I can post it then!

Well, I took the photo and e-mailed it to myself at work so I could post is some time today, but for some reason, the e-mail didn't arrive, so I guess I'll have to wait until tonight now! Oh well!

well....sort of....Laugh! :rolleyes: These pages as you'll see started out for this challenge but they "needed something" ...which ended up being a few more items than 5! Does it count that I used 5 Photos, LOL! Here's mine anyway....
