One of my new favorite techniques. Here's one I already put into my gallery; but, when I go home tonight, I'm definitely going to do one for this challenge. Thanks for the great technique challenge!

here is mine...I think there is a little too much going on here with all the background and the pop outs...what do you think? I like honest feedback...so fire away...Rebecca

My card did not photograph well. It looks great IRL, but not as good on the screen. Oh well, here goes nothing.

Guess, I have time to do this challenge. Heading off to stamp!

Beth this is a great challenge. I have been wanting to make this buckle card since it was posted but just haven't gotten around to it. Thanks for all the time and effort you put into finding new things for us to do.
I am off to create.

Here is my challenge card...I don't have a slit word punch or the circle punches that were suggested...so I just used a ribbon for the latch. Not extrememely thrilled with this, but after the third attempt, I'm quitting with this one!

I made a second one! YAY! I used my primas and some great ribbons that Trudee sent me! Thanks Tbird!

http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...p?photo=280709

I used an unusual color combo - you know that website that Laurajk has - with the color combos - this was from there!

I managed the technique part of this (using the square punch), but the colors.....well......I started wanting to use:Brocade Blue, Celery, Pumpkin, Saffron and Regal Rose....that didn't turn out so I tried just these four......I so did not met my goal for this card, but it looks great in sepia tone! LOL

I wanted it to have a fall garden look:

Here is another attempt...this time with a double word window punch. The background is pretty busy but I'm not too good with this "flower factory" set!

Just ignore me if this is cheating, but I happened to make a buckle card for my classes on Thursday and Friday when I noticed all of the buckle cards in the gallery. I cannot add TLC64 to the key words, though (Or if I can I cannot figure out how).

ALOHA BUCKLE

Thanks for letting me play

How comes things just can't even out a little. We have had so little rain here in Florida that we are battling brush fires. It would be so nice if things could spread a little more evenly across our lovely nation.
