Default TLC628 ~ Everything Old Is New Again: Direct to Paper ~ {3/6/17}

Good Morning Stamping Friends!
It's the first Monday of the month, and that means taking a look back at an awesome technique from times past. Today we are going to use Lydia's awesome tutorial to inspire us in the DIRECT TO PAPER technique.
You will see in her tutorial that there are many different looks for this technique! I am excited to see what you create!

Good morning, Judy. I did a direct-to-paper totally by accident a few days ago. I dropped the ink pad. I'll have to take a look at the paper and see if it gives me any inspiration. . Great challenge. I shall return.

Love doing DTP's - especially with fluid chalks on glossy paper - They give such a depth of color that way! Here's my card:

Thanks for the challenge. This is a technique that I often overlook. Combined with the CAS and Christmas card challenge as well.

Love this technique! Decided to give it some texture with dry embossing, and used a red tag for my background. Added a bright pink ribbon. Photographed against my pink and red lap quilt- working on binding! Here's Dog's Got Mail
