It's been a couple years since I hosted the TLC, so when Judy asked me to sub, I was thrilled!
I've been doing a Monday fun/fancy fold card (or such) for a few months and going back to the
retro techniques has been a lot of fun. So this week we're doing.....
~ Waterfall Cards ~
There is a very nice tutorial here in the tutorials section. You can also find some good video
tutorials on YouTube. It's a pretty easy card to do, so I hope lots of you play along!
But now I do think there's something wrong with the link at the bottom because it's not showing Holly's cards, it came up blank when I clicked on it. OK - I see you've fixed it, Judy - thank you. You've never made one !!
Fun tip
When I make my water fall cards, I cut the full sheet to size, then score it at one time. This is the (9 X 8.5) score at 2, 2 3/4, 3 1/2, 4 1/4. The SU score board is wonderful, because you can mark the scores. Then you can cut the strips the width you need. Ex: 9 X 2, 9 X 3 Saves time. I hope you can understand this. This is why I don't write tutorials. Lol
I can't believe I've never made one of these...have to give it a try! So good to see you, Holly...I see your beautiful cards on Stamp Simply, but have missed you on SCS!
