Ok, I did the challenge--but since I didn't use SU stamps, I wasn't sure where to put it in the gallery. I finally put in under weekly sketch challenge with TLC50 in the title. I don't know how to post a link to this thread--can anyone tell me how to do that? Thanks!
I put this suggestion in another link on this thread:
Here is another way to make an easy template for the heart pocket in any size you like, with no dark copy lines! This also works as a template for a fold-up card scoring all 4 semi-circles for the flaps, laid in to the center one at a time with the last one tucked in like the flaps on a cardboard box. Take a round Tupperware seal of any size (I use an old "A" seal for a nice sized pocket card - works great for packaging gift tags to give as a gift) and measure the diameter from edge to edge. Draw a square on CS with the 4 sides the same length as the circle's diameter, leaving room around the edges to trace the semi-circles. Measure and mark a light dot in the center of the square. Next line up the edges of the lid along each side of the square, just touching the center dot of the square and trace a semi circle on each side of the square. You should end up with a 4 petal flower, just like the template on the link. Once you have a sample you can trace the next one from your first one until you want a different size. Using this method, you can make it in any size that you have a lid, or anything else round that holds still long enough to trace!
Hope this helps someone!

Fun challenge! I thought I had all my valentines made, but these are so fun that I hope to get a chance to make more tonight. I combined with the color challenge (CC47). I think I am going to add two rolls of smarties (one on either side of the eyelets, in the pocket) when I give this away.
When I saw Joni's, (Jstarbright) card a few weeks ago, she was sweet enough to send me the template so I made this one right away! http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...0&ppuser=44493
I'll have to make one or two more for the challenge! I love the original sample, thanks Beth! And the cards so far have been just great!
If you get and appreciate comments, leave comments! Pay it forward....You'll make someones day!
This is my 2nd card for this week's challenge and it was so much fun making. There was not a category for my card and the title was from an old set called "more great greetings" and it was not listed. I did not know where to put it.
The first card is pretty simple. I'm pretty happy that on the second card, I used my Watercolor minis set. It's one of the first sets I bought when I started stamping a year ago. Never got much use so far.
This was a fun challenge. I have saved the template. Used Sizzix die cut rose and leaves with this "Heart" valentine. Chalked the roses and leaves to give a little definition. Thanks for the really fun challenge.

Here is my card (and my first challenge and my first post). I just stumbled across this challenge thing. I have had a terrible day and was sad and thought I should do something different to cheer me up....it worked and I am hooked.....this is a great way to try new things....thanks for coordinating this challenge!

Reason: adding challenge number
I finally had a chance to finish my 2nd one, which I started at the same time as the first. This one is a lot more involved. Here's my fancy heart pocket with the heart inside, and here it is open. I combined this with WT45 & finally used my piercing template.

I've seen AMAZING cards for this challenge! Great work everyone. I really want to try this, but I have a stupid question. What size heart are most people working with? To print it out as is, it's pretty small, but I can't enlarge it as it goes off the top of the page if I do. If I could pull it down on the page, it would fit on there. Any suggestions?
