It's SHARK WEEK! So I just had to do something that involved water ---
and it's time to look back at a previous Technique Challenge. So this week we are revisiting TLC168: Embossed Watercolor.
Pretty simple stuff:
1) HEAT emboss your image with embossing powder.
2) Use a watercolor technique to color the image or color the background.
3) Show your stuff in our TLC494 GALLERY.
**HOWEVER, because it's Shark Week (which has nothing to do with stamping!), give yourself an extra pat on the back for having a shark or fish or water image on your card!
Use BOTH keywords on your projects so that they appear in the original gallery too!
Keywords: TLC168 and TLC494 (no spaces)
Fun technique, Judy...especially for someone who likes to watercolor. Your challenge combined so well with the CAS and other DTGD14 challenges. Thanks.
I've just realised that I can try out Dina's Layered Batik Resist technique for this. It does count even if we iron the embossing out afterwards?? Gotta clean the fridge first, though. This one was a quickie.
Perfect challenge! I have been so inspired by the watercoloring I have seen from folks taking the OCC Stretch Your Stamps and I have wanted to try my hand at it. I combined it with the CAS challenge.
