I don't know about you, but I am itching to get flowers planted! It's been in the 70's and 80's here for nearly a month and we've done quite a bit of watering so our grass is looking nice. Now I am ready for some color, and some veggies/berries, too! My son tells me I have to wait until after Mother's day, though... boooo!!

Faux Pressed Flowers
~
Since I am in a flower kind of mood, I thought that today we would give Anne Harada's Faux Pressed Flowers technique a try. It really is quite simple and delightful. You can view the tutorial in the resources section HERE. There is even a video!
When uploading your creation, please include KEYWORDTLC371 (no spaces)
***ALSO, please note that there is a special gallery set aside for this technique. When uploading, choose the faux pressed flowers gallery from the drop down menu. Thank you!!***
Can't wait to see what you all create! I'm finally going to be home on a Monday to see!!!
Have fun!

Thanks for the challenge and technique, Holly. I'm not a huge fan of this "embedding the design" trend......little too busy for my taste, but I thought if I only partially embedded my image that I would like it better....and I did. It's always good to force oneself to do something one wouldn't ordinarily do....guess that what challenges are all about! : )
Thanks for the great challenge! I made Penguin Pool Party- using SU's Pool Penguins stamping wheel, and Basic Grey's Flora Bitsy stamps.
Have a sunny day!

Holly: Thanks for the great challenge! I used a pretty card, and a recycled coffee sleeve, along with some ribbon and a stamped image from Anita's Place. My tags and white strip are embossed with a Halloween EF from Cuttlebug. Here's TLC371 Angel's Robe Pansy

Holly- this is so fun! I got out my full size Cuttlebug- so my whole card got embossed- much better than my prior efforts with my smaller Sidekick
I used Sizzix' Branches with Leaves #2 for my EF, and SU's Watercolor Trio for my dark green branches. Here's Leaves and Flowers
