It's that time again...
that time when there are all sorts of fairies and elves that leave treats...or silly occasions that we want to show some kindness by way of chocolate or candy. Here's a fun candy bar hanger that you can use to surprise your friends, family members, neighbors...even house guests!
I made these for my kids for Sweetest Day, which was on Saturday. They were excited to be remembered and loved the sweet stuff inside!
There is
a quick tutorial with a few pictures to go by on my blog.
Here is a quick write up:
Cardstock: 3x11 inches
Score at: 1 inch, 2 inch, 4 inch, 4.5 inch. Then draw a line lightly at 7 3/8 inch.
Fold up the piece of card stock. (Refer to example.) Using a narrow punch, nestie or x-acto knife, cut out a spot for your candy bar.
Decorate as needed. Then, cut out another oval or key tag shaped opening that a lever door knob can slip through. Finish decorating. And fill with candy! (My favorite being a plain Hershey Bar!! Yum!)
