TLC337 ~ Swinging Z-Fold Cards ~ (08/08/11)
Hi Stampers!
Have you all been playing along with the Dare to Get Dirty challenges? Its a bit melancholy to see them end, but theyll be back next year!! I have a super fun challenge for you today!
Back in December, Beate posted THIS tutorial in the resources section. Its a super cool fold that is sure to WOW your recipients! It may look a little intimidating at first, but it really was quite simple. Of course, Beates video was a great help!
** Note: If you do not own any dies, such as the ones Beate used, you can still make this card. You just need to make yourself a template of a shape you want to use. But then, who doesnt have dies?! LOL
My girl Lee (LuvLee) made a sample to share. You can see it in the attachments. Thanks bunches, Lee!
Here is my sample:
~ Hibiscus and Script closed view ~
~ Hibiscus and Script montage ~
Please remember that this card type has its own gallery. You will find it in the drop down menu when you are uploading. Please use that gallery when uploading.
Also, when uploading please use KEYWORD TLC337 (no spaces)
You can view the entire TLC337 gallery HERE.
Now get to swinging!!

Gorgeous samples. This is a really simple fold, but it means I have more surface to decorate - what a challenge that is. lol

I love that fold - I've used it a few times since Beate posted the tutorial. Got to tidy up and clean the house properly since it never got a look in last week, but I hope I'll be along after lunch .

Fun challenge, Toy....and thanks, Beate, for the great tutorial. Yours are always so clear and well-written. I'm a little late with this challenge. First, it took some concentration. Secondly, I had to go to a retina specialist this AM and my eyes are really messed up with all the testing, dilating, bright lights they did on me! Hard to stamp with sunglasses on! : ) The Z-Fold really makes an impressive presentation....even tho' I did simplify mine somewhat.

I actually very rarely use dies. I have a couple, but I'm just not drawn to them. But I'll give this a shot at some point.

After screwing this up and folding the front panel the wrong way and the cut being on the inside piece instead of the outside one, I decided not to waste all the pretty papers and finished it anyway. Here it is. LOL
