TLC336 ~ Stamp the Sentiment Over the Image ~ (8/01/11)
Hello everyone!! Hope you had fun with the Dare to Get Dirty Challenges this weekend!!! I have been blown away by all the gorgeous cards in the gallerys....there is lots of talent here on SCS!!!!
I have a real easy challenge for you this week!!! I just love the look of the sentiment as the main image and it looks sooo pretty and elegant to stamp the sentiment over an image soooo......We are going to "
stamp the sentiment over the image "!!
I have a couple of variations for you as long
as the sentiment is the main image:
1. You can stamp the sentiment on vellum and than place it over a stamped image.
2. The sentiment can be stamped over a background that has been stamped with a background stamp.
3. You can stamp the sentiment over several stamped image in a collage effect.
4. Just go with it and have fun!!!
My DD Holly made some samples for me:
Holly's Sample #1
Spirit of Christmas
Holly's Sample #2
Just Peachy
My sample
Amazing Grace
Please remember to use
KEYWORD TLC336 when uploading (no spaces)
You can find the entire
TLC336 Gallery here !!
Have fun...I can't wait to see what you create!!!

Oh Oh! Right up my alley! I love doing this! I'll have to think on it as I have to pick up my son from work soon, but I'll definitely be playing along! Thanks, Joan!

This is a technique that I don't use very often, but I like the idea, Joan. I many times stamp with a mask to put text behind an image, but not in front of it. I combine your challenge with the CAS one today.

I made this card as one of the projoects for my stamp classes this month. I really love this look and would like to do it again directly on the the image; however, with the embossing and all that was going on here, I had to do it this way.

I'm a day late, but I have an excuse.
I made 8 of each of these cards to use in the church Card Ministry.
