Hello everyone and welcome to the TLC!!! Are you ready for another FABO technique??? This week we are going to make hand made tickets!! Tickets are sooo trendy...they are everywhere, yet most of the store bought kind don't fit my designs. We can solve that problem by making our own!! No store bought tickets allowed today....pull out your ticket punches or dies and make your own!!!
Here are a few ideas:
1. Cut your paper into 2 1/8 x 1 1/8 inch pieces and use the ticket corner punch on the corners.
2. If you don't have a ticket punch, you can use a circle punch (any size)...just make sure you insert the corners into the punch at the same place on all 4 corners so the ticket looks even. If it's not even...distress the heck out of it and it will look fine!!!!
3. You can make another ticket a little smaller to use as a template to draw around for the lines on the ticket or you can just draw the lines. I doodled around mine and it worked out just fine.
4. Stamp a sentiment, decorate, distress, sponge....be creative and have fun!!!
Here is a tutorial for those who need a visual.
Here is a sample that my friend Julia (artystamper) made for the challenge today...thanks, Julia!!!
Oh good. Sounds like fun.....I could use some stamping time!

Another fun and "current" challenge, Joan. I decided not to buy the PTI stamp set and die that focused on this very trend.....just didn't think I would use it enough to justify the price. It would have come in handy today! My homemade ticket is over-sized to hold my sentiment. Hope that counts!
