Hello everyone!! First I want to thank everyone who participated in the TLC300 challenge...wasn't that fun?? I want to let you know that we have a TLC challenge Queen....none other than the wonderful and talented MariLynn who made a card with 18 TLC techniques...WOW!!!!
Congrats Queen MariLynn!!!
While I was working on the TLC300 challenge I noted that we had never done a simple embossing resist challenge (if we did it sure was hidden somewhere) so we really need to fix that!!! Soooo, today's challenge to you is to create a card or project using Embossing Resist!!! There is a great tutorial here on the SCS resourse page.
This sounded fun, so I made a card. And it was fun! But then, I am having camera, memory card, or computer problems. So I will try to upload it tomorrow. I may have to buy a new memory card. 'night.
Thanks Joan
- Two of my last three uploads are this technique, I guess it's not one I've relegated to the back shelf. I love using it in conjunction with sponging. I really hope to be along later but we have a dinner guest so I have some kitchen time on the menu.
18!!! That took SOME doing! Makes my mind whirl! : )
Embossing resist is one of my FAVORITE techniques since I love to brayer and the two are a natural together. I didn't brayer today, but did sponge. Thanks, Joan, for another fun Monday morning!
I love this challenge and luck would have it, I was working on a card just yesterday with clear embossing, which I just love. I think it's the funnest technique to do! Here is my card. Thanks for bringing all these amazing techniques. I sure love them!
Haven't done this one in awhile, but love it! Thanks for the reminder, Joan! MY CARD

I've been done with my 2 cards for a long time, but because I had to let my SCS membership go due to finances, they have not been approved. When they do get approved I will link them. Thanks for letting me vent. Just a little frustrated today.
Just got home from shopping with Mom, and forgot to buy a new memory card for my camera! But tried again with the old one, and it worked! What is that all about? I tried for at least an hour last night. Maybe is was just too late. It was midnight when I gave up!
Anywher, here is my Leaping Reindeer!
Thank you for looking and for the challenge Joan.
And congratulations challenge queen Marylynn!
It's getting late but I've finally finished. This was a great challenge for this crazy time of year. I'm sure most of us have done this technique before so it didn't cause too many attempts before we got it right. Thanks so much for all the time and effort you spend coming up with these challenges for us every week. Here is my "Butterfly Kisses"
Joan, here is another one! I used the scaps of what I did yesterday and punched out tea pots for today's tea party! I thought the technique made pretty teapot cookies.
Here is Christmas Tea.Thank you for looking
