I am posting a little early tonight as we've had internet issues today. A big storm blew through here last night and both our cable and internet are wonky still. I also know that many of you are sending your kiddles off to school tomorrow. I have one more week til mine are gone. Having the house to myself again is going to be strange!
~~ Rebus~~
I {heart} this challenge and I hope you do, too! Most people know what a rebus is, but in case you don’t, a rebus is defined as: A representation of words in the form of pictures or symbols, often presented as a puzzle. Your challenge today is to create a rebus on your card. One of my favorite bloggers and SCS peeps, Frances Byrne (StampOwl) does a rebus feature on her blog. You might find these helpful when you are designing your card/project! I also found this site that has a bunch of rebus rhymes.

Awesome challenge Holly! Of course when I found out about today's challenge I just had to play along ... I dusted off a very old Rebus Sentiment stamp I have had for ages.
You must have a very different schedule in US than Canada to be sending your kids back to school already! Ours (Canada) don't go back for about 4 weeks. This looks like fun.
Cheers, Elizabeth
Here's my card for this challenge Holly. Great challenge, you really had me scrambling for ideas here. LOL
We go back to school the week of the 23rd in this part of Ohio.

Pretty much the same in Ireland, too.
I'll have to think hard about this one, Holly. I'll hope to get to play today, but there's work and housework to get through first, and a dinner guest tonight. I like this sort of thing. My standard is Thank You with a sheep for the You; but I don't need any more thank-you cards right now, so I'll have to go to the drawing board.
Very interesting challenge, Holly. Thinking I might have to skip this one for now. Tis fair week here. My kids don't go back to school till Sept.1 (got out late last year).
What a fabulous challenge, Holly!!!!! I'll put my poor little brain to work on this today....my sister is taking the Grandkiddos swimming this afternoon so I will have an afternoon free!!! School doesn't start till the 23rd around here.
My brain cells actually came togehter this morning..Whoohoo!!! the Grandkids are still in bed so I had a few minutes to stamp...here is my card. Thanks for the fun challenge, Holly!!
I finally figured out how to upload my cards to the challenge thread. Is all I had to do was look in the right place to get the instructions! It is amazing how much information is on Split Coast Stampers. This challenge was ...well, challenging!

Oh Ann! That's adorable . I hope you'll also load it to the challenge gallery. If you need help with that, just holler, ok?

I do need help! I thought I followed the instructions and the photo would go to the gallery but apparently I did not. I uploaded the picture to the gallery this time.

What a fun challenge! I've had two cards in my head all week long, but didn't manage to execute them until last night/this morning. My "Somebunny Loves You" card is HERE, and my "Merci Beaucoup" card is HERE. Thanks for looking!
