TLC207 Cut it Out
Today's technique is simple. We're going to create a border or other page element by just cutting out part of an embossed design, patterned paper, or a stamped image, and use it as a part of your card.
You can use a Cuttlebug embossing folder, or if that isn't available to you, dig out some of that patterned paper you've been hording (yes, I mean you!) and find a pattern that will give you images to cut around (this will all be more clear after you see my sample card). And if you don't have any suitable patterned paper or an embossing folder, you can alway stamp an image and cut around it. So let's get busy and "cut it out" today!
You can see my sample
HERE .
To see ALL the samples using this technique, click
HERE .
...and as always, don't forget to use
TLC207 (no spaces) in your keyword!

Until I get back from the doctor with my 3 year old sickie, this will have to do! I cut out the flowers and leaves from the Urban Garden paper set and stacked for dimension, I hope this one fits the challenge. It is one I posted earlier in December, but fits this challenge.
(I will do another one this afternoon during naptime, if Isaac lets me!)

WOW! Great technique. I cant wait to play. We are having a wicked rain storm so I'll see if they go to school today. Just never know about Oklahoma. They close the schools for things like this. I can't wait to see what everyone creates too.

Housework done and all ready to go. This is a technique I like and have done with patterned paper several times, so maybe I'll give the embossing option a go. Thanks, Lynn.

Shut Up... I mean hello, I thougth I was the only one who hords Paper!
Love the Challenge, thanks.
now I will get motivated and pullout the DSP and yes, use it instead of just looking at it and awww it. You know Paper is a lot like designing a room,
you choose colors, patterns & textures than assemble on a board if your a Interior Designer... same with out Papers, We choose Colors, Designs, textures and than hopefully use them! LOL!
