This was so much fun to try. Here's my card for today's challenge. I attempted Michelle Zindorf's background technique again. It's getting better (I think). TFL

This was a fun challenge...thanks Ann!

I used a set that hasn't seen ink and a technique that I've never tried....gotta love days like this!

I'm off to do some volunteer work but I'll be back to finish commenting in the gallery this afternoon.

Thanks for looking!

What a great challenge! Thank you so much!!!

I just wanted to take a peek at the challenge so I could think about my card while doing my Monday chores. Well...that looked like so much fun that I had to stamp first!

Now I have to hussle to get everything done before the kids come home!

It has been A LONG time since I've done a challenge..but I really wanted to try this. Of course, now I'm late for work...do you think that "stamping card" is a good reason to give to the boss? . It came out really light in the scanner...sorry!

Default New Sorry

Ok, I'm new to card making and took a hiatus from scrapbooking for about 6 years. I do own some lasting impressions, but I don't own a cuttlebug. So is this the only machine like this or is there a competitor? I love the dry embossing techniques and this today makes me want to go out and buy one today! Any comments would be appreciated for an old crafter just beginning life again due to an empty nest.

You can use the cuttlebug embossing folders in a Big Shot or a Zip'e'Mate, but they're more expensive than the cuttlebug - but they have the advantage that you can use thicker dies with them, too.
