TLC149 - Split Image (Split negative with a twist)
First of all, let me say how much I appreciate all the challenge hostesses! Beth asked me a few weeks ago to host this challenge today and it has been weighing heavy on my mind the whole time! Eeeeks! What to choose?????
Well, I finally settled on the split negative technique, but with a bit of a twist. I want to see your image done on coordinating colors of cardstock, not black and white. You can stamp the image you split in the same or different color inks. Try something different. You can split your image vertically, horizontally or diagonally too!
Here is a link for the Split Negative Tutorial But remember I want you to think in colors, no black and white this time. Sorry Joanne (jojot)!
Love the split negative. I hope I have time to play later in the week. By the way, nice samples.

I haven't done a split negative card before, so this will be fun to try out! Thanks for being guest host this week, Karen! Time to put my thinking cap on.... LOL....

Thanks for visiting My Gallery and My Blog!
Here's my card! Thanks for the challenge, Karen. And thanks for the help Roxie... I'm glad it wasn't just me, but my recovering migraine brain wasn't sorting it out.
Here's my version for TLC149 - it also fulfills my mission to try a new technique today! This was fun, and I worked out side my comfort zone with glitter and bright colours
Karen, thanks for filling in for me this week! Especially since you have been sick....I hope you are feeling better, my friend! Great challenge, and I look forward to cruising the TLC149 Gallery!
Thanks Karen and Roxie for another great challenge. I'm off for my coffee then we'll see what my brain can come up with! Hope you're feeling better soon Karen.

Gonna go get my stamps out and then make a run to the store before I get to play today. Haven't done this technique before so I'm anxious to give it a try!
morning ladies. THIS was so much HARDER than i thought it was going to be! my New years resolution is to push myself to try NEW things and things i normally shy away from. ok before i present my card please be kind... i know it's really in need of tweaking, but this was sooooooooooo hard and took forever....{sigh} i tried but i doubt i conquered. HAPPY NEW YEARS LADIES... have a few glasses of wine, this card will look amazing {sigh} GOLDEN WINGS
