TLC147 - Add Some Dazzle to the Holidays! (12-17-07)
Hello! I'm so thrilled to be guest-hosting for Beth this week! I have tons of work to do tomorrow to wrap things up before my office closes on Friday for the holidays, so I thought I'd go ahead and post this tonight. Hope that is ok with ya'll!
I'm down to my last few holiday cards and gifts to make, and I wanted to try a fun technique that I hadn't done in awhile. I also wanted something that would "wow" the recipients. I LOVE the glittery effect of Dazzling Diamond Dust!! If you've never tried it before, the
tutorial is super helpful, so don't worry. And this technique is especially perfect for holiday/winter cards - it reminds me of snow and ice!
Here is the card I made for this challenge:
Dazzling Diamond Tree
Here is the gallery for all Dazzling Diamond Dust cards:
Dazzling Diamond Dust Gallery
View all the cards for this challenge
here !
When you upload a card, please use keyword
TLC147 and upload to the special gallery section for
Dazzling Diamond Dust (under Technique Spotlight)
Thanks for playing - I can't wait to see all the cards! Have fun!

I'm done now off to bed fighting a cold and it doesn't help staying down here and playing all night.
Hope you like it - thanks for the glitter challenge - it worked great with the card I wanted to make for my grandson - check that off - one more thing done!
This is a copy from a card in the October issue of Paper Craft Magazine - I just added a little more bling to mine.

Here's my card --

I may have gone overboard with the glitter embossing because it's hard to see the image, but it's much clearer IRL.

I finished my card early enough this morning. Unfortunately my computer is in the shop, so I can't edit my photos very well. This photo doesn't do the card justice, but none of them do, do they? lol Oh well. Thanks for looking ~ and I hope you all have a great day!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to clarify that I used Iridescent Ice ep with mine - I know the title of the technique is Dazzling Diamond Dust, but the tutorial called for Iridescent Ice. So you can still play even if you have no DD!!
Ok - back to work
I can't wait to have time to comment on these cards!
