TLC126 - Make a little Magic
Let's make a little magic today....Magic Cards, that is! These are really neat cards...they change from black and white image to a colored image when you pull. They do take a bit of time and precision, but your efforts will be well rewarded!
Check out the fabulous tutorial by our very talented Beate...

Please upload to the Magic Card gallery under Techniques, and use keyword TLC126.
Here's the gallery submissions for Magic Cards for your inspiration:

Thanks so much to Lynn for filling in for me last week! Lots of fun and unique cards to see with the tapestry technique.

Thanks Beth, I hope I can do this today, this is one of the first type of cards I ever made, It didn't turn out too good. and I still have it. That was in January 06. I think I am a much better card maker now, thanks to SCS.

You might be able to try a T-square and a piece of tracing paper or a transparency. That's what I did before the Stamp-a-ma-jig..

Do you have any legos? I saw a faux stampamajig made once from Legos...basically you just need a T shape.
You could also make one with some layers of cardboard.
Or try the other idea posted by cathymac!

Fun challenge. I like doing Magic cards but don't think I have the time today. Girls are gone so I'm gonna go sneak in their room and CLEAN it
(k, throw things away) If I take a break and feel like stamping... maybe I'll make one!

Love this one! Did a card like this last year for nieces b.day using frolicking frogs. Today I promised my daughter I'd play "treasure hunt" She has the map all made up and everything. This evening I'm stringing beans. Maybe I'll get to play tomorrow!
