I have been wanting to try this technique for ages and this may just be the push that I need. If I finish off with the wedding invitations tonight (crossing my fingers), I will give this technique a shot. In the meantime, I will steal some time here at work and peek at everybody's creations.
I really don't know why I don't use this fantastic technique more often! I really loved making this card. Thanks so much for the push to do it Beth! And thanks for the challenge every week. I appreciate all you do for us!
ROFL - here's one I did a little bit ago. I had no idea what the technique was called! I was more focused on the frame - I guess I have to go and scour Beate's tutorials (I thought I was being so clever and original ) It was fun - hopefully I will be able to make another today... I edited the photo to add the technique and keyword, so approval is still pending. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...7606?nocache=1
p.s. how do you guys post your links so they show as your card title instead of the http address?
First time using this technique, love the challeges!!! Twinkling H2O's are awesome if you havent had a chance to us them you should try some! We have a local SS here is RI named Bella Art that is having classes using these, that is how I found them!!! TFL~
"Love is not about finding the right person, but creating a right relationship. It's not about how much love you have in the beginning but how much love you build till the end."
I too like this technique -- but I've always used it for representational things (like jelly beans in a bag for bugs in a jar), I'm going to try something more abstract like Beate's tutorial! Thanks for the challenge.
