Default Where to get small cheap clear paint cans?

I was planning on making nugget boxes this year for Christmas. I needed something cheap, and the tins were only 80 cents at specialty bottle. Can't beat that. I already bought all the stuff, then I got a call today that the tins won't be in till the end of December:(. So unfortunately thats just not gonna happen for me. So I'm thinking maybe I can do the same thing in a small clear paint can. Do you think that would look okay? Is there a place where I can get them cheap? I've never bought them, so I don't even know who has them. Thanks!

Oh, and if you happen to know where I can get the tins, please let me know. I was going to try to just make them, but that was taking way to long, and I've got to do at least 10 of them.

Default clear pails

Clear Dollar Stamps has the smaller clear pails "paint cans", although I cannot recall how much they are at the moment...

How many paint cans do you need. I don't have clear, but I do have just plain tin quart cans. They would be 85 cents per plus shipping. Just let me know.

Emily,

Don't know if this will help or not, but here's a picture of one I did using the Michael's gift card tins.

Fall Thank You by bettystamps at Splitcoaststampers

And here's one we did at my Christmas workshop:

In our store the tins are located at the checkout and are only $1 each. Of course, they don't have the see-through top, but my customers loved them!! They hold 10 nuggets perfectly (not sure how many nuggets the tins you're talking about holds as I've never used them). They do have pictures on the top so that's why I embellished them. The bottom is metal so no need to cover anything up. Hope this makes sense. One of my customers told me yesterday she had bought so many the clerk asked her if she needed gift cards to put in there. She then explained what she was doing with them. I love using these because they're available year round!!

Hope this is a doable alternative for you!

Wow, paint the small paint cans are larger than I thought they were. I think it'd take too much chocolate to fill them up.

The gift card tins sound like a good idea! I think maybe I'll stop by M's today.

Thanks everyone!

I know PaperTrey and I believe Gina K. both sells nugget tins. Have you checked their sites?

I envision a run on the gift card tins from Michaels. LOL Very pretty!
