Default where to buy white thumb tacks

hi everyone
i have been searching in stores and online for a good price on white thumb tacks so i can put my cards in clear envelopes (just put in an order) and pin them to my cushion board ive never used.

so if anyone knows of a place, please let me know.

I don't know a good price, but Lowe's carries white tacks...I only know b/c I just had to buy some heavier duty silver tacks, and saw the different varieties. Otherwise, I guess any office supply store would work. It would probably be more beneficial to you if you could find a box of like 1000 or something..maybe try one of the wholesale stores?? (BJs, Sams, Costco)

1000? wow thats a lot haha. i will keep looking around my house but when i fully recover from my oral surgery. if i cant find white tacks then i guess i will look into painting them. i wonder how much work that would be?

I've purchased them at Wal-Mart (years ago). Your local hardware store may have them too.

Buy some regular metal tacks & just use white embossing powder. Hold the pin portion with a pair of tweezers. Give the tack a blast with the heat gun, dip it into the embossing powder. Heat. Repeat. Voila! white tack. (This works really well with brads.)
