I stamp with Memento Tuxedo Black, if that makes any difference.
I'd like to try a different white CS (right now I'm using SU! Whisper White). Part of the problem is shipping costs...I live in Canada. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!
My favorite for Copics is Gina K's pure luxury. It's the only one I've found that does not bleed through so it is perfect for one layer cards. Plus, it has a wonderfully smooth finish.

I use Hammermill Color Copy Cover. I prefer the 60lb, because it doesn't suck the ink out of the marker as much as the 80 lb, but both are sooper smooth. Going from Neenah to the Hammermill, it took MUCH less to start blending, so not quite as forgiving.
I've just bought a ream of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White, but I'll be interested to see what everyone else says. Marianne's blog has an overview of some of the cardstocks for stamping: http://ilikemarkers.blogspot.com/200...-and-inks
The Gina K is the BEST you can buy for it. I am a horrible paper snob and this stuff is just PREMIUM. Comes in two thicknesses, a cover weight which is nice and thick and the copics don't bleed through, and a layering weight. They both color up very nice, but the heavy one is cool because you can use it as the base of your card and make single layer white copic colored cards.
The Papertrey paper works very nice too. Before I tried the Gina K I swore by the Papertrey.

I use C.C. Designs Copic Quality White card stock. I cannot at all tell the difference between it and Neenah. Side by side, it is the exact same. Shipping to Canada at All That Scraps is wicked cheap, too.

I love the Gina K. paper, it is great. But I am a scrapbooker also so I reach for my Prism Simply White "12x12" all the time. It's great paper and super smooth.
I find using smooth bristol perfect for these markers little to no streaking and there are a number of techniques you can do with them...like pastel pencils to add highlights and shadows to your image looks like you actually painted them!!!!
I am in Canada too. I haven't tried it yet but I just ordered the Gina K paper on the recommendations I received here. Shipping was $5.95 with I think a $50 minimum
purchase. Good luck with your search.
Avalanche white is the brightest white that Neenah paper makes. Solar white is brightness rating 95, Avalanche white is brightness rating 97+. I like the 130lb Neenah Avalanche white. Its very nice to work with.
I use Gina K pure luxery for my Copic's. I also live in Canada and if you order $50 or more it is a flat shipping rate of $5.95. They have fast shipping as well.

Thank you for the info. I will have to check this out. I like to Solar and thought it was pretty white, especially compared to the GA Pacific paper which looks blueish gray when held up against the solar white. So you use the 130 weight? Does it bleed through? I am using the 80lb solar right now and was going to try the 110lb. I am going to see if they have some of what your using and try some.
