Default What is an Xyron machine??

Okay, I have been hearing about Xyron machines and I was wondering what they are and what you use them for. Are they difficult to use? Thanks so much. Donna

It's the coolest little machine that makes things like a sticker- it basically puts adhesive on the back of paper or what not! AmandaCalloway just gave me one (isn't she sweet) and it's awsome and easy to use- especially for the tiny things that are hard to get glue on etc. You judt place the paper on one end turn the knob and it comes out the other end with adhesive on the back!!

I just bought my Xyron 510 this weekend and really happy with it. It is great for adhering vellum paper. It does not show through. The 510 model also laminates and does magnets. If you check out www.xyron.com, it describes all the different models and what they can do.

They are a must have! I personally have the little X (1 1/2" wide adhesive" and the 250 (2 1/2" wide adhesive). I run cardstock, ribbon, photos thru it. I know lots of people have the higher numbers (which indicates the width of the adhesive) but I haven't needed anything bigger yet. I got mine at Michael's, they put them on sale often. I paid $12 for the 250 and $5.00 for the 150. You'll love them!!!

Oh, Donna!! I cannot imagine being without my Xyron!! I probably use it everyday. My dh bought me the 1200 model from QVC about five years ago and I love it. I have actually run fabric through it to make lamp shades for my Dining Room chandelier! The only problem with that model is that I'm not sure if they make them anymore! I can still get refills, but I cannot get them locally--I have to order online. I suggest going to JoAnns or Michaels with a 40%off coupon!!

Question:

Does it come out with something to peel, or is it sticky?????
