My birthday is coming up and hubby wants ideas of what to get me but I can't think of anything. He is shocked that there is nothing in the crafty world I don't want but I really can't think of anything. I have lots of toys thanks to his indulgence.
Any ideas for a must have item of the year....I have a baby Cricut, cuttlebug, prisma markers and pencils, not to mention many stamp pads, and inks......any ideas.

If you use your cricut alot, and don't already have it...I would get design studio. :-) I have the expression - and no lie, i have used it ALL DAY...I have been on a vinyl kick LOL
I could not live without my Copic markers. The problem is that they are so hard to find in stock & it takes forever for the markers to get here from Japan bc they are so backordered :(
Everyone here seems to love the scor-pal and I agree it is great for scoring cards. BUT...... for making envelopes I MUCH prefer the Enveloper from Crafter's Companion. I have the set- which is MUCH cheaper at HSN.com than anywhere else, btw- and while the scor-pal is a little better than the Top Score for cards, NOTHING matches the Enveloper. If I could have only one- and I only have both because of the 1/2 price sale at TAC a while ago- it would definitely be the Crafter's Companion set. HTH
I personally would ask for some sort of storage system. Something that you can add to as the need grows - and we all know the need grows and grows and grows....
I agree with the score pal and the nesties, but what about the new pencils everyone is talking about called Koh-i-noor? Gina K has them in addition to her prismacolor pencils.
all great ideas now i might have too many choices......thanks to you all for the perfect ideas.
I haven't looked into nesties or an ATG gun, did play around with the design studio trial and if my computer was a bit better it would be a good choice.
off to research the new ideas.
A Scor-Pal for sure if you don't already have one, and if you like to color-then Copics!! Have you checked out Stamping Bella's newest stamps...I am always racking up a big cha-ching bill with her...LOL!
Must have ATG gun!! And LOTS of rolls of tape for it Gotta have a good paper cutter and scor-pal or scorit board. Those items are a total must for my crafting room!! ( I have a tonic paper cutter like the one SU sells. awesome!)
What about some stamps? There are so many good companies out there (besides SU): Papertrey Ink, Crafty Art Stamps, Purrs & Pants (brand new company with pet stamps). Check out the ads and/or the sponsor forums here for starters.
I would never trust my husband with a stamping purchase. LOL He doesn't shop around for deals and would probably get the wrong thing. I would just ask for money or a gift card.

But if you give him a link to the exact set you want, or make a list of things you'd like from one place, would that work?
I'm lucky in that DH got me a clear set as part of my birthday gift. I didn't think he'd actually order it using the link that I sent him!

The only problem with giving my husband a list and link to what I would like is that he would know how much all of this stuff costs! I think he's blissfully unaware of how much money I have in all of this.
Seriously, if I did give him a list, I think I would stick to a Stampin Up wish list or something like that.
I could make it easy on him and send him to stampingbella, hannastamps or sweetnsassystamps to get me a gift card or just check out the shopping baskets that I have filled at this very moment.
I asked for a stampin' up gift certificate, then I hosted a party so I got a good deal on everything and I helped my rep too. It was win win. I'm going to have to see what nestabilities is (are)...haven't heard of them and I thought I knew everything....hahaha
I got the Scor-Pal (with 30% coupon at Archivers) a few weeks ago and LOVE it!! I also just ordered an ATG gun. Can't wait to try it out!! Whatever you decide--enjoy your new toy and Happy Birthday!!
