Default what do you think of the Scor-It?

what do you think of the Scor-It as compared to the Scor-Pal?
It seems to me that the Scor-It is a better tool. Has anyone used both?

I have the Scor-Pal and I am very happy with it. Unfortunately, I cannot compare for you though, as I havent tried the Scor-It. Good luck with your decision!

I only have the Scor-It so I can't compare but I LOVE mine. It was one of the best investments I made.

I do have both and there seems to be no difference in the quality of the scores between the two! Hope that helps!

I have the scor it. I do like it, sorry I can't compare it to the Pal. I do know I have to be careful when scoring lighter weight paper as it will cut through the paper especially where I start to scor. Good luck with your decision.

I really wish there was some huge difference in the 2. I can't decide which to buy and of course add in the scor it mini that makes 3 choices. What's a girl to do?

the big difference for me was that the Score-It only has one scoring line whereas the SP has multiple score lines. that makes it much easier for me to do projects that require multiple scores since I don't have to move the paper.

if it makes any difference I have used both of them.

Is there a price difference - maybe that will make your mind up???
I kinda like the idea of multiple score lines, especially when you are making projects like post it note holders, etc.

I've been waiting for the scor-it mini - I don't think the manufacturer made enough for the demand and they sold out fast! (next shipment due in mid-November)
I'm getting the mini because I just want it for quickly scoring a card base. I have a scoring blade on my big paper cutter that I love but hate changing blades just for making a score on a card.
Good luck on your decision.

I love my Scor Pal. It so easy to use-you can make multiple scores without having to move your paper. This is great for doing multi-scored cards or making boxes.

I love my Scor-it. It is so easy to center your paper for scoring using the markings at the top. I have been finding that often my paper is not "exactly" 8 1/2x11 or 12 x 12 so that allows me to tweak my score.
I don't have a Scor-Pal, but if I got one I would get the larger one in case I wanted to make accordian cards.

I love my Scor-It...never tried the other though. It has a centering ruler at the top so you can center your paper if it's not cut exactly. Also, it has a little stop guide that you can put on so if you are scoring a big stack of cards (like for a workshop or stamp camp) you don't have to keep remeasuring...just keep placing your cardstock up against the stop guide and score away! Good luck with your decision and I hope you are happy with whichever one you choose!

get this one

http://crafts-sewing.hsn.com/crafter...810149_xp.aspx

it is more multi functional than the score pal and score it although they are good as well.
