Default We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch vs Stampin Ups

I am trying to weigh the pros and cons of WRMK Envelope Punch and Stampin Ups version before I purchase one. Anyone out there who can help? Thank you.

They are the same thing, other than the color. The Stampin' Up board is made by WRMK. The Stampin' Up version has the correct measurements for an A2 envelope, but it's easy to add a label with those dimensions to the WRMK version. The SU! version is priced the same as the suggested retail for the WRMK board, but it's easy to find the WRMK board for less than that - they carry it at Hobby Lobby and Michaels, and you can use coupons on it. But, if the $20 for the Stampin Up version puts you over the amount that you can earn hostess benefits (or Sale A Bration items for today, yet), the discount for the WRMK version might not be worth it.

WRMK makes the SU board.

Check out post 4 on this thread:

It appears that the only difference is one measurement on the charts.

Thanks for posting this question. I was just wondering the same thing myself!

Think I will get the Stampin Up one when I do buy.

I think all the WRMK envelope punch boards are now available with the correct measurements. You can use a coupon thereby saving some money to be spent on some more crafting item. Heard someone's husband ask, 'How much are we saving?'

Oh, thanks for letting me know about the correction to WRMK. I may end up getting that one instead of SU. Depends on the "deal" I find.

Keep in mind if you buy something from a Stampin Up demo you are supporting a small business person and not an "anonymous" corporation. You might also get additional customer service that you won't get from a big box store.

Just some food for thought....

Totes McGotes! Since SU! is my full time job, every purchase someone makes from me when they could go to a big box store is always very appreciated. Also, if you ever have an issue, your demo is the one on the phone with the company getting it resolved.
