I'm not sure if all Walmarts are doing this, or just Maryland. Also not sure if they are phasing out a lot of their stamping/scrapbooking or just making room for new. There is a ton of stuff on clearance.
I bought some stickers, a two-way glue pen, corner rounder on clearance, but there was so much more.
Fisker Trimmer, replacement blades, the small guillotine trimmer from Fisker, and so much more.
Since they just started carrying the Cricut Light cartridges I don't they they are phasing the department completely out. Anybody else know what they are doing?

they are doing the same thing in my area - I am in Columbia, South Carolina. I haven't see the Cricut Lite Cartridges yet, but hope they get there soon.
I talked to an associate and she said they are clearing out the old so the new "modules" can come in. So new stuff is coming!
I got a few cool Martha Stewart embellies on clearance from our store...
My walmart was clearing alot as well. They also had the Lite carts out, but they are not supposed to put them out until July 1st, according to the Cricut.com site.

My Wal-mart in Jackson, Missouri is doing the same stuff. They have all their Martha Stewart punches, stickers, embleshments, glue, etc. I got some punches and stickers (3d) really cheap. I have a feeling that evidentually they will eliminate the craft section all together just like they did the fabric dept (I miss it too). Pretty soon we will only have HL and have to order on line for all our supplies. HL, doesn't have quality paper!!!
My Walmart remodeled the entire store. Fabric is completely gone. Artificial flowers are down to less that 10 bunches and it looks like they will not restock those either. No cemetery arrangements
Scrapbooks section is down to a few basics in adhesives and such. No CS no DP, no MS or any other punches . I was told the scrapbook section is finished so this is all they will have.
They have also eliminated many name brands food products and replaced them with their generic Great Value brands.
I spoke to one of the managers today and he said they eliminated "many' of the products people are asking for.
They expanded their cheap furniture department. Now they have cheap dinette sets and desk chairs
Now the only reason for me to to go there is for cat food. :(

Our Walmart had very little of anything on clearance.
A few months before the remodeling they were running out of so many things . I was told because they would be remodeling they were not ordering anything except essentials and even for those they were only ordering the bare minimum of one or two of an item. There were not only bare shelves in the craft department but everywhere else. They ran out of cough syrup.
I found this out after trying for weeks to find the $1 acrylic photo stands to make Post-It Note holders . I finally found the store manager who told me this.
I wish we would have had great things on clearance
