Thumbs up Using Cuttlebug folders in Original Sizzix

I have used the A2 Cuttlebug embossing folders in my original Sizzix machine with much success. Has anyone used the 3" x 3" dies with their Sizzix? Any other type of Cuttlebug items in Sizzix???

I have used the cuttle dies in my sizzix no pob but am wondering about the embossing folders as well. I already asked on another thread.

Both work well for me with the magnetic converter.

I found on here somewhere; where you used a mouse pad so that you could use any brass stencils with the sizzix machine. Does anyone know how to do this or where I can find it?

i use embossing folders without a problem in my sizzix. i do find that the dies work better in the bug though.

i think all bugs are different.....some looser than others.

i like having both.....and i have a big shot (not used it yet though) in case the sixxiz breaks. i have so many dies it would be a tragedy ! i do NOT use the bug with the red/yellow/green sizzix dies though....the crunching noise is too scary !

I use the emboss. folders in my red sizzix machine. I put 2 white cutting plate down, then emboss. folder/paper combo, then one more white plate on top. Run it thru the machine with no problem. I don't use the converter. It's a snug fit, you won't have to give it much "force" of the handle. You can't do "just the front" of the card, unless you fold the card back over the folder. I usually just do a 4 x 5 1/4 piece and tape it down leaving a border around the card.
