Okay, I am pretty sure I NEED a cuttlebug but up in Calgary AB, they cost $109 CDN at Michaels.
We will be travelling to Seattle and Spokane later this month and I wondered if anyone out there could tell me the USD cost in those areas?
I live in Oklahoma and shop at Michaels. They have the Cuttlebug for $79.00 and frequently run coupon specials in the Sunday papers for 40% off.
Their website has a store locator feature, and it looks like there are about 8 Michaels stores in the vicinity of Seattle, so I would check that out while you are there.

I just bought my bug. It spoke to me every time I went into Michaels ;) so finally I just bought it. I used a 40% of coupon. And by the time you figure in the exchange if you bought it the the States, I am sure it is almost equal. I am sure no positive you will love it. ENJOY.
I live in Denver, CO and at our Joann's it costs $89.95 so I figure I could get mine for $45 with my 50% coupon tomorrow. It's strange how much the price varies between stores.
Mike's usually has them at $79.99, while Joann's usually prices them at $89.99. So, cut your best deal. :-) Check out the Cuttlebug FAQ for lots of good info.
If you are visiting family or friends in Washington, you could also consider ordering a Big Kick from costco.com and shipping it to their address. It depends how you are travelling.
And if you don't have access to other coupons, you can go to Joann.com and sign up - they e-mail you coupons you can print, though it does take a while to start the subscription. Or some one can forward an on line coupon - they are good for friends.
My Michael's did not accept their 40% off coupon on Cricut products, which includes the CB. HSN.com currently has one for $69.95 with free shipping.
The Michaels coupon does NOT exclude the Cuttlebug. The coupon says, "all Cricut and all Martha Stewart products". That means the Cricut machine and all of its accessories are excluded from the coupon. The Cuttlebug is made by Provocraft, who also makes the Cricut, so that's where the confusion comes in. It is a totally different machine from the Cricut.
All over the country at Michaels the clerks try to tell people that the Cuttlebug is excluded, but it truly is not. If you call a manager to the front while you are in the store, and explain, they should let you use the coupon on the Cuttlebug. If you can get them to scan the coupon, they will see that it works for the Cuttlebug.
Sorry for your hassel, but we need to stick up for ourselves in these stores.

Yep, yep *shaking head up/down*
Gotta be persistant but polite and you will get them to scan the coupon.
That being said....I got myself a Cuttlebug today!!!! Yes!
I am in the greater Puget Sound area and Jo-ann's has a 50% coupon special going right now. ~And I think whomever said 79. & 89. was right on the money. I bought mine there on sale for 49.99 a while back.
For the record 'though, joann.com won't ship to Canada. I got my bug in Calgary with the 50% off coupon before Christmas - oh, sorry, DH got it (with a lot of help from my mother and sister, LOL!)
