need help.......have lots of Spellbinders but need to store them.........can anyone help me.........love using them with my CB so much easier than punches but I don't want them to get ruined.......does anyone have any ideas?
I cut mat board approx 5 X 7, large enough to hold each set of Nesties. Then I mounted magnetic sheets on the mat board. I labeled each one and have them stored in one of those "Really Useful Boxes" (which really ARE useful boxes), along with all my CB cutting plates, embossing folders and dies. This works really great for me because I have the desk space available. But some people have mounted magnetic sheets to their walls, or the inside of cabinet doors and stored Nesties that way. Others have put them on binder rings and hung them above their work space. There's a great thread here about storing Nesties, and it really depends on how you work and the space you have available.

I hope this isn't a hijack but I'm also interested in how you keep them straight from each other!!!!!???? Like, how do you know the larger oval set from the smaller oval set, there are no markings on them! Color coding? Numbers in sharpie?
I guess I'm just too messy and worry that I'll be sittin there at the end of the day trying to re-match all the little rings to fit inside one another again.
I had tried most of the above, the CD boxes creak easily and you have trouble finding the sets that go together. A stamping friend showed me her cd case that zips close and has many pockets for storage. It opens like a notebook and it has 2 storage pockets per page, so that when it is open you have 4 pockets that you see. The pockets are clear so that you can easily see your nesties. I put a 4 set of the shapes in the 4 pockets so that I can see what fits together without having to remove them. I put them on bazzil cardstock with the magnetic strip. I love it. I got mine at Staples for about $25.00. It was the best investment ever.;)
This was my solution....the magnetic holders for knives from IKEA....they are great! No effort to pull them off and use them and they GO BACK just as easy as getting them off! Love that! DSC09288.jpg

I use selfadhesive magnetic sheets and place them on the storage sheets, I use both sides of the storage sheet, I can get two sets of nesties on each side, I have the set labeled on the sheet beside the nestie set, it works out to 8 sets of nesties per box. I seen this idea on a blog here on SCS, sorry I can't remember who it was.

I've been trying to find that link too. This is how I keep my nesties. But I really like the QuickCuts idea. I had the storage binders and the Sunday Internation sheets on hand. I purchased them to store my unmounted stamps but this organizational style didn't work for me.. I like that it doesn't take up much room and I can easily grab the storage box and have my nesties at my fingertips.
nesties are on sale at www.ritzcamera.com for $16.65 per set. EVEN THE NEW RELEASES....I had to enable. I just purchased 5 sets for under $100 plus got free shipping...Blessings.

I love this idea ...perfect solution... I have mine in a cd case In the little plastic cases ..on the cardboard they come on cut to fit and I have used magnetic strips to hold them in place but like your idea much better.. TFS
i just put mine in the pockets of a zip up cd holder. the kind that sort of looks like a giant wallet, not the plastic cases. it zips up and they all fit nicely inside. so far i have 13 or 14 sets in it and it's only half full!

This is exactly what I do. I have a strip of magnetic strip down each side of of the doors on my hutch and store each set of nesties on that. It's very convenient and out of site, but close enough to get to easily!
2 questions.......how many Nesties does the Quikkutz storage hold? I can't tell how many pages there are.
And for those of you that use a CD binder.....I just bought one from Walmart, but it doesn't look right, lol. It's the double, zipper type.....but the pockets look kinda flimsy. I think I'm going to take it back & look for a different one. Does anyone have pictures of what their CD binder looks like??
I adhered magnetic sheets to a bulletin board. I can't find where i got the idea from, though... If you want pics i will take some later, but I LOVE having them so visible, and it was so easy to hang the board on the wall right by my craft table.. I highly recommend it!

You can store a lot of sets in each binder. I have added quite a few extra of the pages you put in these. I am going to have to order some more for the newest 11 sets I just got...Love these because they close and you will not lose any. Blessings.
I keep my Spellbinders in flat CD cases with a bit of sticky backed magnet on the bottom to keep them in place. They are easy to see, take up little room, and are safe. I keep lots of flat things in CD cases. They're cheap, compact and sold everywhere. Hope this helps.
