Years back I bought a cardboard house kit SU sold intending to make a haunted house. I finally got around to doing it this year and the next day all the pieces popped apart! The recommended sticky strip (which seems sticky to the touch) isn't holding. Any suggestions for a stronger adhesive?
I use my ATG on everything and I haven't had anything come apart. I use a cardstock (heavy - 203#) to make boxes that has a kind of rubbery plastic coating and other dry adhesives let go on it (stuff like the red line sticky tape and sook wang), but my ATG never fails. The only other adhesive that works is a wet adhesive (I use Sobo glue).
When I make boxes with mount board (which is used in picture framing) I use a liquid rubbery type glue, ours in UK is called Copydex, as it 'binds' the fibres together. I find it much better than tape.
