Default Stampin Up slit punch?

Hi ladies as you know i'm a newbie here i've seen a punch used on a friends blog that she used for ribbon threading, she told me it was a Stampin Up slit punch, i've searched all over and i have now figured out i need to order from a demonstrator, now here's my problem or rather problems. I'm in the UK and i know most of you guys are US, i also don't use paypal. I had to close my bank account thanks to someone stealing and using my card, i've no intention in sorting out another one as i'm really nervous about it. I'm a SAHM who's disabled so can't work any longer so every penny is precious. I only ever use Postal Orders (money orders) I'm assuming that Demonstrators don't take those as most don't so do any of you know if there's a UK based store i can purchase from? any advice welcome i've totally fallen in love with it and NEED it lol.
Hugs and thanks

SU! also has a presence in the UK! Just make sure when you go to the main SU! site that you click on the appropriate flag and you'll be taken to the correct section of the website, where you can then use the Demonstrator Finder to locate a demo near you!

All demos are different when it comes to the types of accepted payments as we are all independent representatives. However, I would tend to doubt that you'd find someone who would refuse a money order since they're like cash.

sorry for your dilema. Just a suggestion. I would use a bank money fill in order
instead of postal money orders; most people are not aware, unless it has changed,
it cost $15.00 to track a money order if someone says they have not received it.
Where a bank fill in money order can be tracked at the bank to see that it was cashed,
and I'm sure any SU demo would accept that. It would also be interesting to see
what the card was that was made with the slit punch, would you share the blog
and the date on that project?

Default Northern Ireland SU fan

Hi Tizzy
I'm also from NI (County Armagh) and I love SU. Depending on what part of NI you're from you can get in touch with a demonstrator who will order your products for you. Unfortunately, that punch you're talking about is not in the current SU catalogue. We are a bit behind the USA. BUt there are lots of other wonderful SU products. There is a new catalogue coming out in October and many of the items in the current cat are going to be retiring soon.
Hope this helps,
Karen x

There's also a cool Martha Stewart punch that equates to the ribbon-threading punch.

As a reminder for SU, Stampin' Up!'s USA demos are not allowed to send/sell items to demos from other countries. ;)

Tizzy,
I have to wonder if maybe you're talking about two different punches? The slit punch actually just cuts a smile-shaped slit--it doesn't actually punch anything out. I don't think I've ever seen it used for ribbon threading--not that there can't be a first time.

The other punch I'm wondering if you're talking about is the double rectangle punch, which looks like it would be used for ribbon threading.

Hiya hun i know what you mean, one cuts a semi circle which you can use to mount pictures or cut inverted curves on corners and even do tickets with, i have that one thanks to an amazingly generous forum member. The other one i'm looking is called the horizontal slot punch. shown here
