Question square punch advice

I am in the market for new square punches and I wonder which sizes I need to buy. I found a great tutorial on circle punches (My favorite punches) and I wondering if anyone knows of a similar one for squares?

I am interested in how the different sizes nest and what size of square scallop match the 1'' square punch.

Thanks.

creative memories has a double square punch I like, because they are great for layering; like this one on ebay:
Creative Memories Punches Square 1 1 2" and 1 1 4" Geometric Multimaker 6 in 1 | eBay

you can usually post on this forumn to buy or sell for punches.

Thank you. What a creative technique you have with the banner. Great!
I was not familiar with the CM square punches.

I thought I'd mention one issue I came across buying square punches: Not every manufacturer measures them the same! Some measure the actual dimension of the sides, however some measure diagonally from corner to corner. So be aware if you are buying different brands- you can't always mix & match. I ended up with two identical sized punches buying online

Wow - that's a good advice. I'll keep that in mind. I think I'll go with the EK Success for all of them, now just waiting for the black Friday coupons, which I hope will come...

Have you looking into the Spellbinder's dies for circles and squares...might be more cost efficient instead of purchasing a lot of punches?

Hi Catick. Yes, I already own all of the dies from LifeStyle Crafts for circles and squares, but if I need 30 small circles (same one) - which for some reason I needed a few times in the last few weeks, it's very tedious and time consuming. Plus - when I do projects with my kids I find that it's easier to work with punches then with dies.
