Question Spica Glitter Pen?

I was wondering what anyone can tell me about these. For example, how broad is the tip, is it a brush style or does it look like a marker? Does the glitter get stuck like it sometimes does when squeezing a Stickles bottle, or does it come out smooth like a Sakura gelly roll pen?

And what color do I get first? LOL! Thanks!

I just bought 2 yesterday and love them. They have a marker/journaling pen tip. It's not very thick and the glitter just rolls out with the ink. No clogging. They are super sparkly b/c of the glass pieces that make up the glitter. I'm very happy with my purchase and plan on getting all the colours.

They are very sparkly and flow very easily.

One little tid bit of info that I found very funny was the pronunciation of the pens. I had been calling them spEYEca, but when I went to the LSS and bought some, the display said they were pronounced SPEEKah. LOL

I, too would like to know where these can be purchased.

I also was wondering if anyone has discovered a white gel pen they like. I have a marvy but it doesn't always write very well.

The only white gel pen that I have ever liked is the Stampin Up white gel pen. I wasted lots of money trying to save $$ by purchasing others, but they didn't work. :( I also found the same white gel pen in an online store that is the exact pen SU sells. It is here: http://www.impressrubberstamps.com/m...tegory_Code=WN . From what I know, I think this pen is imported. There is a 5 cent price difference between SU and Impress so I guess that is a pretty standard price. I have purchased from Impress before and am happy with their service.

Thank you. I have a SU demo so I think I will give theirs a try. I do sometimes try all the cheap ones first but sometimes you just have to pay the price. Thanks for letting me benefit from your experience!

LOL! You're very welcome!

Now who wants me to mail them all the yucky versions I tried. LOL (KIDDING... I wouldn't waste the postage! LOL They don't work!)

BTW, remember to store it on it's side. I don't remember why, but I think you're supposed to. LOL

You're welcome. I have gotten a few stamps, some Swarovski crystals and a couple other things from them. I love the cupcakes on a stand stamp and the cute matching sentiment.

Yay, back from dinner to find an answer. Thanks ladies. The pens do sound neat. Hmm, another addition to the Christmas wish list.

I did a video tutorial on the Spica's. You can check it out here:

It also has links to Canadian and US sources.
