Default Spellbinder artisan explorer machine and memorybox dies.

I just won a holiday raffle at buffalo stamps and stuff. Along with a very generous baskets of goodies, the new spellbinder artisan explorer machine was part of the prize.
It is advertised as a heavy pressure machine for cutting metal, chipboard, fabric, etc.
Any hints out there for use with memory box dies? I don't want to ruin anything.

Wow! I have no idea, but that was a heck of a raffle!

Congrats!

Oh you have no idea it took me the entire afternoon to open the the dies, stamps, papers, embellishments, embossing folders, t shirts, water bottle, flowers, brushes, kits, ribbon. It was a stash beyond a stash plus the machine. It was three Christmases and four birthdays all in one. I've been on line looking at videos using the machine. They do a lot of metal cutting for jewelry with it.
I usually am not a winner of prizes. This tops them all and makes losing others a bit of nothing.

Oh my gosh, what a fabulous gift! I can't answer your questions, but I just wanted to say how thrilled I am for you, especially as one who also "never wins anything!" Enjoy your new toys...

To find out what can and can't be used in the machine you should definitely go to the Spellbinders site or even call them up to ask.

I guess I was so excited about the prize, I didn't think logically. Thanks for the advice. I went to the Spellbinder site and FAQ and the answers were there. Now to find the time to play with the goodies and create.

I wouldn't have been thinking logically either! What a nice prize! I hope you have a great time with all of it!

I use the Artisan X-plorer - is there any reason you feel it would work differently with Memory Box dies than any other?

Using the Artisan X-plorer, I cut Memory Box dies using Bazzill Card Shoppe heavier weight cardstock, and regular patterned paper, the same way: Base plate, die, paper/cardstock, cutting plate.
