Soda top/bottle cap smooshing

Has anyone tried smooshing a Micheals' bottle cap???

I have some SU bottle caps and I also have some I bought from Michaels. I wanted to try smooshing them with the BS...I used the cheaper ones from Michaels, I just couldn't bring myself to try it with a SU one! Well, it got smooshed....but it also lost it's "roundness"....it looks all wonky now. I tried twice and both times = wonky looking ones.

I got the "No More Shims" embossing mat and smooshed some bottle caps with my CB. I got the bottle caps from Hobby Lobby. I think it was The Paper Studio ones. It worked like a charm. And it embosses great. I know some peeps here don't like it but if you are just embossing or smooshing it is great. It says on the package it works in thr BS also.
