It is only for embossing..you dont cut with it..so probably no on the spellbinders.

I got one, thinking I would love to use it for embossing without investing in a die-cutter. I do indeed love it, but I loved it so much I decided I needed the Big Shot, too! If you're really only interested in embossing for now or you don't have the dough to drop on a BS, the Texture Boutique is a fun, inexpensive toy.

I ended up getting rid of my Big Shot because it took up so much space. I don't miss it for cutting, because I have my Slice. But I do wish I could emboss, so I'm thinking about getting this for embossing. Just remember it takes embossing folders, but NOT the Sizzix texture plates. I think there are plenty of folders from which to choose, so I'm not going to let that bother me.

this is da bomb for embossing... even if you want to emboss the front of your cards... it is fun and easy to use and it takes all embossing folders (even the QK folders). LOVE mine.
