Also, Sizzix has discontinued free shipping for orders over $100. For this sale, however, that is a negligible cost.

I think shipping is $10.50 for $100 order

Yeah, one of my girlfriends and I went in on a $200 order together this morning and the shipping came to $16.50. Considering how much we'd pay even if we found a "normal" good deal, I didn't blink an eye.

Default Oh, WOW.

How did I miss this? Just placed my order and you are right. I was able to purchase everything I wanted for less than two items would have cost me before. Many thanks.

I forgot to look at that email from Sizzix, I did place a small order, if 4 items is small to some people. Thanks for the reminder!

They changed the sale to only selected items. Bad business.

I thought it was selected items from the get-go. Did they narrow it further?

I don't know how many items there were before but this is the graphic I shared on facebook when I first saw this thread. Someone on an email group I'm on said there were less items but she didn't really elaborate.

I ordered my dies on Thursday morning. There were over 400 dies and/or cartridges on sale then and it look like their sale page has 427 on sale now. I can't remember the exact number when I ordered, though. Maybe some have sold out? It's kind of interesting because the email I got from Sizzix on Wednesday before the sale started had the graphic worded a bit differently - using the word "selected". I wonder if they goofed and sent a rejected draft out to some but not others. I saved so much money on what I bought, I'm content. I'm moving to Canada in about a month and a half where I won't be able to order directly from Sizzix, and I can't take advantage of the upcoming online Warehouse Sale because Scrapbooking Made Simple won't start shipping orders until the day after I move. This was a very pleasant and most welcome surprise for me.

Definitely still an awesome killer sale. But it just bugs me when they change the terms like this, after it's been released. I don't think it was some kind of graphic bug because the coupon code wouldn't have worked on the non-sale items and so far, I haven't noticed where anyone said the code didn't work. Then again maybe no one tried it on any items that ended up not on sale. All of the items I bought are still on sale.

Still, I can't imagine things not selling out with a sale like this. But then maybe they've also been adding things-who knows. Either way, still a great sale.

Oh I should mention-I didn't get that graphic from an email. I shared it directly from the sizzix site and after the change, it still came up so I saved it to my computer.

eta: just found the email (in my trash folder-oops) and it has the amended graphic on it.

I have been watching their hexagon 1.25 and 1.5 inch dies for months. Of course they were sold out by the time I went to order. If anyone has a set they don't want please let me know. Are they discontinuing these sale items after the sale is over? Just wondering if I need to start watching again.

Default shipping

I guess the shipping was based on the pre-discount amount? I only ordered a few (3)things and my shipping was $8.25. Pretty flat stuff to charge so much. Oh well... I don't know if it's just my computer but I had a terrible time on the website. Pages wouldn't load, etc. I had to log out and in and eventually restart my computer. I'm sure it's volume of users but surely they could have anticipated that. Anyone else have a problem?

Surely these are not being discontinued. I thought they were most likely changing packaging or following this sale with a price increase. What do you think?

Depends on what you ordered. Dies are flat, but pretty darn heavy, so shipping could add up. If it's just embossing folders then that would be high. The site was fine for me but I ordered on the first day.

I'm moving soon and I've been packing up some of my steel rule dies. I'm having to pack them in the same, small boxes as my books because they are quite heavy. The weight really snuck up on me. I can see why most shipping companies that do flat rate pricing usually have some kind of a maximum weight restriction per package.

There's also a weight restriction on flat rate envelopes and packages through the post office. I always thought it could never been met at those sizes but something like dies just might do it. lol

Maybe the weight is in small print. lol. Seriously though, the weight limit on a flat rate envelope or box is 70 lbs. Unless you're mailing something like a cannonball I can't imagine anything that heavy fitting in those boxes AND can't imagine the boxes not falling apart.

Actually even a cannonball might not fit.

It is for people who shared the original graphic and the sale info. I thought they encouraged sharing information but in this case it kinda backfired.

Here's a list of what I found on the Sizzix website, when you click on the shipping label. They now ship via FedEx, I wonder if that was always the case? Somehow I remember them shipping UPS

Contiguous U.S.

Order Total S & H Charge
$00.00-$30.99 $8.25
$31.00-$60.99 $9.25
$61.00-$99.98 $10.50
$100.00-$149.99 $12.50
$150.00-$199.99 $14.50
$200.00-$299.99 $16.50
Over $300.00 $19.50

Most Sizzix Machines include an additional $5.00 shipping and handling surcharge.

I placed my order on 7/4...any idea how quick or slow they are in their shipping? I figure with such a good sale it will probably take forever to get my order. Can you tell I'm anxious to get my new toys?

Usually, they are very fast in processing orders, Pammy. I placed mine on the 4th and it's still "in process". This is the 11th order I've made with them and the longest processing time. That said, I had resigned myself to a longer wait time because I am sure nearly 75% of Americans that own a Sizzix took advantage of this sale, LOL. The one good thing about it for me is that I am in Oregon and once it gets into Fedex's hot little hands, it gets here fast.

I was up bright and early on the 4th and tried to place my order but their website or my computer were not playing nice with me and I couldn't get signed into their site. Finally got logged in around noon.
It's good to hear that they are starting to send out ship notices..maybe will get mine today.

Here's the link to the shipping info: https://www.sizzix.com/shipntrack Normally it takes 5-7 BUSINESS days to process. Today (the 10th) is the 4th business day since the sale began.
