Default Silhouette CAMEO vs. Silhouette PORTRAIT

Is there a big difference between the Silhouette CAMEO vs. Silhouette PORTRAIT besides the sizes that it can cut up to?

Here on the Silhouette site, is a side by side comparison of the two machines.
It looks generally like the Portrait is a smaller, lighter machine, which does not have the Sd card slot, nor the LCD display that the Cameo does. And it does have a smaller cutting area too. It really depends on how much you would use the 12x12 cutting are. If you mainly cut from A4, then you wouldn't need the extra width.
I have one of the original Silhouettes, still going strong after almost 10 years, and its max size is A4, which is fine for me, as I'm a card maker, not a scrapbooker.

Thank you for your response. I was thinking the same thing since I am a card maker and not so much a scrapbook person.
