Default Scor-bug vs. Cutter Bee Piercing Bugs?

I'm looking to buy something that can pierce paper straight and with even spacing (tried doing that freehand, oh boy...). I've narrowed it down to either the Scor-Bug or the Cutter Bee Piercing Bugs (2 different types of piercing in 1 package).

Anyone have any insight on which one is better? I've heard that Scor-Bug is the same as Cutter Bee Piercing Bugs (both made by EK Success), so if that were the case, i would go with Cutter Bee Piercing Bugs (much cheaper).

If there are other tools I should consider, I'm all ears!

Thanks!

They are the same thing. I believe EK Success stopped making the Cutterbee Bugs and then Scor-Pal entered into some sort of deal with them to create them for the Scor-Pal. But don't quote me on that, LOL

Excel Pounce Wheels are what I use - I like them better than the Cutterbee bugs. Here is a link (I have both sizes and prefer the 7/16" swivel tool): Excel Pounce Wheels - Discount Art Supplies at In2Art.com

The 1/4" has 21 teeth per inch (with the teeth being so close together, you can really tear your paper using this one!)
The 7/16" has 15 teeth per inch (gives a wonderful perforated line and really adds texture to your work.)

I've got both (the EK Success ones were on a killer clearance deal; already had the Scor-Bug) and the single piercer is exactly the same except for color.

The EK Success double piercer doesn't work with the original Scor-Pal. It does, however work with the Martha Stewart scoring board, where the lines are 1/8" apart, so it might work with the Scor Buddy or the new Scor Pal that has some lines that close together.
