Default Scallop punch question

Okay, so I succumbed to the scallop craze by buying the Giga scalloped circle yesterday with a 40% off coupon at the LSS. Would I need the Mega plain circle to go inside that? (Does Michael's carry the Mega plain circle?)

Thanks!

Kimberly

Yep, the mega plain circle is the one you will need to get the layering you want. The M's I shop at has never carried them. But your's might. You could always Joann's store or online, Hobby Lobby. Stampingfreak.com (Gina is FAB by the way, if you've never ordered from her before) or pre-order from Papertreyink.com & they have free shipping w/ $40 order. HTH.

Thanks! I'll have to check around the local stores tomorrow. DH wants me to meet him for lunch because the hens at his workplace are having a baby shower in the break room. I told him that HE'S the one who is the chicken.

My Michaels never carried those punches.

Our Michaels has several of the plain circle and oval and square punches, but they are not the clever lever, but the button type. They work very well for me, and I got them at 40% off. I got the scallop punches from Frantic Stamper, and really like them.
Giga, purple, is the largest. Mega, Pink, fits inside, Super Jumbo is Blue, and fits inside the Mega.

Found the Mega plain circle at Michael's and used my 40% off Joann's coupon.

OH yeah.. That's right! That's the difference. I knew there was something different. Oh well, I guess for 40% off, I won't complain much. Several years ago I bought a punch assist thing that is hand made out of hard wood that has a neat lever thing to use to punch with. (I don't always remember that I have this, but maybe I'll have to move this to my stamping desk.)

I do have the Coluzzle system. I've thought about using this, but sometimes a punch is just quicker than dragging all of these components out. (Lazy me!)
