Default ribbon you hate?

Ok, maybe hate is a strong word....but I am going through all my stuff, trying to clean up my stamp room (as are many of us, I am noticing). I'm now working on ribbon and I am looking at some of it, now wondering "what was I thinking" when I bought it? Mainly, it was from Michaels when I first started stamping and I didn't really know what to look for. Plus, it was the cheaper stuff, so sometimes not so nice. (Although I do have some really great stuff from Michaels that was cheap).

I'm wondering if I will be kicking myself by getting rid of it.Maybe a project will come up where it would have been perfect. Room is always tight in my craft room. But I could always squeeze it in. I always seem to find room, if necessary...just some creative 'shifting' of product.

Any thoughts??

My kids love to stamp, so if I have a "holy cats, why did I ever buy that?" moment, I give it to them. It always amazes me when they come up with creative ways to use ribbons I can't stand!

I do the same thing! When I first started stamping, I though I had to buy everything stamp-related, which included some UUUUGLY stamps and some UUUUGLY ribbon. Now they are in my kids' craft basket to make into their BEEEEEAUTIFUL cards!

There is always using it for a gift package. Of course I'm one to talk, when I just gave a bunch of stuff I don't like anymore to GoodWill this past weekend.

Shannan-I find this hard to believe- you are a rock star stamper- You can make any thing work!!!

Have you tried taking your velvet ribbon - (well, wait....what colors is it?? - Never mind, should still work) and putting it in one of those padded envelopes with my address and a postage stamp on the front
and *gently* placing it in the mailbox????
