Default repositionable tape

I found the best repositionable tape. Its in a regular tape dispenser like gift wrapping tape. It is made by scotch 3M and is matte finish removable tape. I found it at staples. The dispenser is blue. If you want a tape that you can use to hold something in place and then peel it back up, this stuff is wonderful! I even re-use the piece a couple of times. I just peel it off and stick it to my shelf to use again. It is NOT a double sided tape. It must say matte finish removable tape. I've been looking all over because I couldn't remember where I bought it. Finally found it at Staples and bought two rolls. I wasn't even half through the first roll But I wanted to make sure I could find it again. I love the stuff!

I have some of that same tape - it is the BEST for sticking Spellbinders dies to your paper before die cutting. It's thin enough that it doesn't add any extra embossing , but it peels away like it was never there.

I'll have to check to see if I can find it here. What I have been using and really like is the Elmer's repositionable adhesive glue stick. I make sticky notes out of my scraps with it. If I need a piece of tape, I take a long thin piece of scrap and use it that way. Its good stuff too.

I use that too but it is not sold everywhere they sell 3 M scotch brand tape.

I have never seen it in an individual plastic tape dispenser, but it is sold in a roll that comes in a BLUE box and fits in a desk tape dispenser I have seen it in 1/4" and 3/4" width. I buy 1/4" .
I bought mine latest roll at a Package & Ship store

The only place I could find it was at staples. I looked at Michaels, acmoore, Walmart and other stores and that was the only place I could find it! Mine is in 3/4" .

I paid $4.49 per roll for that 3/4" inch for the same amount of tape. But it looks like the same stuff.

They also have single rolls . I didn't check the exact price, but it was around the $4.49 that you paid

I have been using this same roll for years now, I reuse over and over...just stick the little pieces on my desk and then when I need a few pieces they are ready to go.

I thought I'd stumbled on a secret weapon, when all the time you all already knew about this wonderful tape!

It's funny... when this product first came out I was working in an office supply store and my first thought was "What bozo invented tape that wasn't sticky. I mean it's tape, it's supposed to hold things together." Of course back then I wasn't a stamper and didn't realize what a find this tape truly was. Now I think "I'd like to kiss the guy that invented this wonderful stuff." My how times have changed.

I thought so, too, Kathy. This is the first time I've even seen a discussion about it. I know I want some now.

I use this tape, too, and have for years. Staples had a 25% off office supplies in Sunday's paper. I would think tape would qualify as office supplies. Thanks for reminding me to pick up some more when I go today.

Thanks for mentioning this product. I use the dbl sided but not this version. Lately, I've been using my Washi tape for things I want to remove because I found that I'm not that fond of Washi. Once I use it all up, I buy the 3m.
