Default removing old foam backing from stamp blocks

I bought 6 of the big background mounts at a sale yesterday, and I've gotten the actual foam off by microwaving. Does anyone have a good/easy method for removing the residual stickiness? I have it in mind to try Goo Gone, or the old standard Skin-So-Soft, but I'd welcome other ideas or solutions, especially from anyone with experience!

I'm going to use the blocks to mount some of my vast and growing collection of unmounted stamps.

Thanks for whatever help you can be!
Pat

If you use Goo Gone, be careful! Do not let it soak in it. I let mine soak for about 1/2 hour as they were really bad, and my stamps kind of curled and one of them bubbled in the middle!

PUT THEM IN THE MICROWAVE FOR ABOUT 6 TO 8 SECONDS IT WILL SOFTEN UP THE FOAM ENOUGH TO PEEL IT RIGHT OFF.

I've already removed the foam, what I'd like to know is, how best to get the rest of the sticky residue off of the blocks. Any suggestions?

I just rubbed the sticky stuff off with my fingers...it kind of just balls up and rolls off...I don't know of any special trick to get it to peel off another way.
