Default Quickutz dies...they seem really cute!

Ladies,

I have the Cuttlebug, which I was told cuts the Quickutz dies. I was looking at the dies and they seem really cute! The owl, deer, killer whale, penguin, etc. What is a good price? I have only seen a few at my HL. I saw the others on ebay.

I also have the Cricut. Do you think it is a waste to get some quickutz too?

You are about two weeks behind me! I also have the Cuttlebug and the Cricut and love them both. But then I tried a Nestability and from there tried 'just one' Quickutz die. Oh man, I am sooooo hooked now. My LSS has a Quickutz club where you get 20% off everything QK plus free classes like Make and Takes. I went to my first one the other night and won a set of the birds that we used to make Valentines. I have been making Valentines with my QK for the last couple of days and love it. I just got the big butterfly and he made the cutest darn Valentine! Oh and the owl, on and on and on. Also, their 4 X 8 alphabet dies are a pretty good deal. I must admit I gave in and bought 2 sets of the Cookie Cutter alphabet dies that were pretty costly but I am using them. They look absolutely adorable on Cuttlebug embossed paper!!! Let us hear what you decide.

I use them all!!

QK dies are priced according to the size and if they are doublekutz or singlekutz.

Usually 4x4 are around $16 for singles and $24 for doubles.

2x2 are around $8 for singles and $12 for doubles.

I buy most of my dies online and at Archivers (they get exclusives). Scrapyland.com and scrap-mart.com have the best prices, but not always the best selection.

Ebay is often cheaper yet...

How often do you make and use diecuts? Are the Quickutz ones cuter than the Cricut ones?
Just the questions I would be asking myself. I love the cute diecuts, but I almost never actually use the ones I already have, so it would be a waste of my money (personally). If you use them, then--have at it!

I treated myself to the large Quickutz cupcake die yesterday. I think I will use it, and it is just so cute! I will use it in my cuddlebug...no need to have a revolution...that is the beauty of it all.

I think overall, Quickutz has very cute designs....not to say others are not cute. Get what jumps out at you!!

Quickutz are my favorite shape and Alphabet dies. The last few releases have been great. They do releases every month. Their 4x8 alphabets are perfects for cards and LO's. They are also releasing embossing folders by April that looks great!!

Thanks everyone for your help!

Do you think this is a good deal? It is $95 for a set of 8 and I do like them all. It is more than I wanted to spend, but isn't that how it always is! I am just waiting for my certificate from some government official saying "Thanks for single handedly pulling us out of the recession!"

It is if you get free shipping.

Otherwise scrapyland has them for the same price and free shipping on $50 and more.

I love Scrapyland but get so disappointed about the stock issue. They're almost always out of the dies I want.

I started out with a sizzix and a ton of dies for it and then i discovered the quickutz and their totally cute dies and now I have the revolution and the hand tool. I use the hand tool when we are travling in the car it works great for that. it actually isn't even on my desk anymore it lives in my to go bag because that is really theonly time I use it. Anyway what sold me on the whole system is the absolutely cute dies. I had looked everywhere for a tractor die could not find one and yet there one was for the quickutz. I have small children and so many of the dies seem to be so child oriented I love love love it. I usually buy mine from ebay because it seems that I always want a retired die or alphabet
